Looking for a challenge beyond implementing a specification? We are seeking a solution architect who cares about how a solution works. You will design solutions from start to finish and develop them yourself, using AI tools in day-to-day work. If you enjoy finding better approaches and improving our processes and our customers’ processes, we would like to hear from you.
About Odoo
Odoo is a modular business application platform covering areas such as sales, accounting, inventory and manufacturing. Implementation connects selected applications with the customer’s processes.
What you will do
- Design technical solutions for Odoo implementations and upgrades
- Develop the solutions you design: architecture is connected with hands-on development in this role
- Identify technical debt and suggest alternative approaches where the existing solution can be improved
- Work with the team on code preparation, reviews and architectural decisions
- Communicate directly with customers to analyse requirements and advise on technical options
- Find opportunities to automate and improve internal processes
What we expect
- Strong Python knowledge and practical use of AI tools in everyday work
- Experience with ERP systems and an understanding of how they work in practice
- Knowledge of the Odoo framework, including its data model, ORM, module inheritance, XML views and QWeb, or a willingness to learn it quickly
- Understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL and the data model behind a solution
- Experience with integrations using REST, JSON-RPC/XML-RPC, webhooks and third-party systems
- Basic knowledge of Linux and deployment processes
- Git and code review skills, with the ability to guide other developers
- Experience with DevOps tools for source control, work tracking and CI/CD; we use Azure DevOps
- Technical documentation skills so architectural decisions are clear to the team
- Confidence communicating with customers
What we offer
- Work with a modular ERP platform on projects for different business processes
- Interesting and varied projects
- Mentoring, certification opportunities and independence in decision-making
- Permanent employment and fair pay
If you understand the difference between following a specification and understanding why a requirement exists, and can apply that understanding in practice, we invite you to apply.
