Odoo for Slovenian companies
Slovenian localisation for Odoo
Odoo is a capable international ERP, but as standard it does not fully cover Slovenian legislation. Our localisation closes that gap: from e-invoices in the eSlog standard and fiscal verification with FURS to reports for AJPES and the Bank of Slovenia. It is proven at more than 70 Slovenian companies.
Check whether your system is compliantWhat standard Odoo covers and what we add
The comparison refers to the scope of functionality for the Slovenian environment, not to the quality of the standard Odoo solution.

What the localisation includes
Invoices and VAT
Chart of accounts, tax settings, VAT calculation and the DDV-O report, advance invoices under Slovenian practice.
Electronic business
Issuing and receiving e-invoices in the eSlog standard, exchange via UJP and banking channels, UPN QR code on the invoice, SEPA payment orders with purpose codes.
Statutory reporting
Reports for AJPES, statistical reports for the Bank of Slovenia (SFR and KRD) and export of the Intrastat report.
Fiscal verification
Verification of invoices with FURS for cash transactions, with an audit trail and every prescribed invoice element.
Why this matters
Compliance without manual work
Reports and e-invoices are built from data already in the system. No parallel spreadsheets, no retyping.
Updates when legislation changes
When the rules change we update the localisation, and every client under maintenance receives the update.
Proven in practice
The localisation is in production at more than 70 Slovenian companies, from trade and services to manufacturing.
What you risk without a proper localisation
Rejected e-invoices
Public sector buyers accept only e-invoices in the prescribed standard through UJP. An invoice in the wrong format comes back and the payment is delayed.
Retyping reports by hand
Without the right outputs, reports for AJPES, the Bank of Slovenia and Intrastat are rebuilt in spreadsheets for every deadline.
Exposure during an inspection
In cash transactions without fiscal verification of invoices with FURS, a company does not meet the legal requirement.
How the setup works
- 1
Reviewing where you stand
We look at which Odoo version you run, what is already installed and which customisations might overlap.
- 2
Setup and configuration
We install the localisation and configure it for your business: tax rates, document layouts, e-invoice channels, reports.
- 3
Handover and maintenance
Together we verify it works on your own cases, then we maintain the localisation and update it as legislation changes.
Who it is for
You are moving to Odoo
We set the localisation up as part of the implementation, so the system is compliant with Slovenian rules from day one.
You are moving from another system
When migrating from an old ERP or accounting package, we make sure open items, opening balances and documents are in compliant form from day one.
Payroll and HR records
Odoo covers HR records itself. Payroll under Slovenian legislation is a separate Hermes solution that has been on the market for more than 30 years and covers all types of personal income for the private and public sector. More about payroll and HR records.
Frequently asked questions about the Slovenian localisation
For basic accounting yes, for full compliance no. Standard Odoo brings the Slovenian chart of accounts and tax settings, but it does not cover e-invoices in the eSlog standard, fiscal verification of invoices with FURS, reports for AJPES and the Bank of Slovenia, or the Slovenian Intrastat report export. Our localisation adds those parts.
We follow the changes and update the localisation, and every client under maintenance receives the update. You do not have to track the changes yourself and you do not need a separate project for every new rule.
No. Odoo covers HR records itself, while payroll under Slovenian legislation is a separate Hermes solution that has been on the market for more than 30 years and covers all types of personal income for the private and public sector.
