Mandatory from 1 January 2028
Starting on 1 January 2028, every company, sole trader and other invoice issuer will have to issue e-invoices and send them through an official provider of electronic channels, such as Bizbox.

Why the right format matters
Rejected e-invoices
Public sector buyers accept e-invoices through UJP only in the prescribed standard. An invoice in the wrong format is returned and the payment is delayed.
